Romania – France Season 2019 presents CRULIC at the French Cinemateque in Paris

The French public will have a new chance to watch CRULIC – THE PATH TO BEYOND (2011, Anca Damian) during a retrospective series of Romanian film productions that contribute to the New Wave of Romanian Cinema between March 27 – April 4.

Being currated in an exceptional retrospective, CRULIC will be presented next to some of the most famous Romanian films realised after 1989, which have been invited to and participated in many international festivals where they received numerous prizes and awards, while enjoying both the juries’ and the public’s recognition: 12:08 EAST OF BUCHAREST (2005, Corneliu Porumboiu), 4 MONTHS, 3 WEEKS AND 2 DAYS (2006) and BACCALAURÉAT (2015) by Cristian Mungiu, AURORA (2010), THE DEATH OF MR. LAZARESCU (2004) and SIERANEVADA (2016) by Cristi Puiu, THE AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF NICOLAE CEAUSESCU (2010, Andrei Ujica), CALIFORNIA DREAMIN’ (2007, Cristian Nemescu), ONE FLOOR BELOW (2014, Radu Muntean), THE HAPPIEST GIRL IN THE WORLD (2008, Radu Jude), THE FIXER (2017, Adrian Sitaru), CHILD’S POSE (2012, Călin Peter Netzer) and TARZAN’S TESTICLES (2017, Alexandru Solomon).
